Text	Barbary Ellen's grandmother was Barbary Maria (Wills) McQueen, wife of Thomas McQueen, and gt. granddaughter of Samuel McQueen.. Barbary Ellen died on march 28, 1885 soon after giving birth to her daughter (also Barbary Ellen). The baby died March 12, 1885, and both are buried in the Crosswhite Cemetery alongside Abraham Lincoln Crosswhite who died November 05, 1894. Sadly, Abraham lost his wife, his daughter Barby, and his son, John Wheeler, within two months. John Wheeler Crosswhite died on April 28, 1885. He too is buried in the Crosswhite Cemetery. My grandfather was 2 years old when his mother died, 11 when his father died. He was Charles Quinton Crosswhite. My family believes he was born in TN, not NC. They did live in NC in 1880.
