W. M. TOLLEY
Mr. W. M. Tolley, age 84, died at his home Route 1, Hampton, Saturday morning at 2:40.
Mr. Tolley was a life long resident of Carter County and a member of the Little Doe Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Laura Tolley; one daughter, Mrs. Kirk Simerly, of Hampton; one son, Steve, Baltimore, Md.; one brother, Charles Tolley, Hampton; 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 1 p.m. from the Little Doe Church with Rev. Virgil DeLoach officiating, assisted by Rev. J. R. Cates.
Burial will be made in the Simerly-Collins Cemetery.
Active pallbearers: Kyle Kemp, Kale Street, Charlie Tolley, Dave Tolley, Bill Tolley, Bill Honeycutt, Albert Hyder, Garfield Gouge, Thurman Simerly, and Carmen Whitehead.
Flower bearers, Fannie Kemp, Dot Odom, Rhoda Odom, Mildred Rowe, Jean Whitehead, Jean Townsend, Joan Street.
